Ginger Shroom Journey

A brief, yet satisfying 2D adventure

Note: This was a solo student project. UI and Texts on the screen in-game are tailored for 16:9 aspect ratio, or 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 resolutions.

Description: 

Collect the coins! Because it's fun! Harness the power of the mushrooms and find the escape. Keep an eye out for traps and and monsters, as some may surprise you... Iron Man permadeath mode implemented for you hardcore gamers that want to speedrun or time yourself, once you've learned the stages of course. This mode will challenge you to pace yourself, so speedrun attempts are encouraged.

Controls:

Jump - SPACE bar

Player Movement - WASD or Arrow Keys for directions

Use Ladder - W and S to climb or descend

Shoot Arrows - L-Shift click or hold
